It was so fun to see you over at Freshly Pieced. You do such lovely work! Love your prisms and Ruby!
Hi, Taryn! I am your newest follower. I hopped over to visit you from Freshly Pieced. You have a great blog and I love your projects! I look forword to see all your creations as you continue to grow and learn! I am highly impressed with your half square triangles. When I first started out, I made the vow to only sew with squares or rectangles. lol I am glad to report, I broke that vow. =)
Just had to come over and comment about your great WIPs on Lee's post. I've seen the Patchwork Prism on a couple of blogs, but I have to say that yours is really amazing--the colors just pop and sparkle. You've chosen a great set of contrasting tones and that really makes the quilt sing.
You've also really scored on using the Malka Dubrowsky prints in a bow-tie baby quilt. Having just finished a softer version, I love how everything just pops. So maybe high contrast, vivid colors are your signature? I think those of us in hotter climates with brighter sun are drawn to these (I live in SoCal).
Anyway, fun to meet a new blogger and see some lovely quilts--keep quilting!

What a nice surprise to see you pop up at Freshly Pieced, and with quilting progress too!
Hi Taryn,
I have just found you and you are amazing. Your WIPs are fabulous and I decided to do what you did and cut and sew at least two quilt tops that use half square triangles. I am just so excited, but unfortunately it is my bedtime now so tomorrow those tops will beckon me. I have chosen the x's and os one for the top I'm making for my granddaughter who is 8 months and another one. I'm so sorry I didn't join the handstitched class I just can't tell you but I surely will next time. I too am doing the BOM from the Fat Quarter Shop but have yet to piece even the first one. I have so much to do it isn't true and luckily for me the weather here in England is really bad - raining for over the past almost 3months!!
Thanks again and sorry I rambled on and on.
